We will be having a new series of blog posts which will be concentrating more on how young musicians should start their career in Indonesia. These blog posts come up from a series of questions that are being asked by many young Indonesian musicians, especially those who are classically trained musicians, given that the market here is still at its infancy.
We asked 3 directors who each has their own distinctive career in Indonesia’s classical music scene for the last 20 years. These directors are exceptional and talented musicians, who are both still young enough to see the current world dynamics and also experienced enough to advise to younger musicians on how to build their careers. Avip Priatna, Aisha Pletscher and Hery Sunarta will share what they know and what they hope young musicians would acquire to further their careers in this field.
The following blog posts share their views on music and musicians’ career, and what it takes to be a young creative person/musician to walk down the path of music.
